  • Do I need to be fit before I start Muay Thai?
    No, you don't need to be fit to start. Muay Thai training will help improve your fitness over time. Classes are designed to accommodate various fitness levels, and you can work at your own pace
  • What should I bring to my first class?
    For your first class, bring comfortable workout clothes (shorts and a t-shirt), water, and a small towel. Most gyms provide basic equipment for beginners, but you may want to invest in your own gear as you progress
  • Do I have to spar or fight?
    No, sparring and fighting are optional. Many students train for fitness, self-defense, or personal development. You can choose to participate in sparring when you feel ready
  • What does a typical Muay Thai class involve?
    A typical class includes warm-up exercises, stretching, technique practice, pad work, bag work, and conditioning. Some classes may also include clinch work, drills, and sparring for more advanced students
  • Is Muay Thai suitable for self-defense?
    Yes, Muay Thai teaches effective striking techniques and close-range combat skills that can be applied in self-defense situations
  • What equipment do I need to buy?
    As you progress, you'll need hand wraps, boxing gloves, shin guards, and a mouthguard. There's no rush though as these items can be purchased bit by bit as you progress on your Muay Thai journey.
  • How often should I train?
    For beginners, 2-3 sessions per week is a good start. As you progress and your fitness improves, you can increase the frequency if desired
  • Can women train in Muay Thai?
    Absolutely! Muay Thai is suitable for all genders. Women are free to join our mixed classes or our women's sessions.
  • Will Muay Thai help me lose weight?
    Yes, Muay Thai is an excellent full-body workout that can aid in weight loss when combined with proper nutrition.
  • Do I need previous martial arts experience?
    No prior experience is necessary. Muay Thai classes are designed to teach beginners from the ground up
